DOES YOUR ORGANISATION NEED SUPPORT?
Receive four free hours of strategic mentoring from a Rising community member.
what is strategic mentoring?
Exactly what it says on the tin.
Strategic Mentoring is mentoring support for senior leaders and decision-makers working at a strategic level. The only difference? A young creative will be offering the mentoring - providing you and your organisation with the tools and insights you need to make effective strategic decisions. Whether you’re a director, senior leader or someone involved in making strategic decisions in your team or department, you will leave with a fresh, creative perspective that can re-energise your organisation and your mission.
We consistently speak to organisations looking for our creative community expertise, but are unable to resource it or are unsure of what they might need. Whether it’s questions around relevancy, future proofing or other strategic struggles.
We know and have seen first hand the radical potential of our young creatives as leaders, consultants and change-makers, and so with support from Freelands Foundation, we have resourced a way for 10 organisations to access 4 hours of strategic mentoring from a young Rising creative for free.
the process
1.APPLY to get a mentor.
We anticipate the demand will be high, so there will be a short and easy application process so that we can assess the need and ensure you get matched with the right mentor.
The deadline for applying is Midday on 11th March 2024.
2. GET MATCHED WITH A MENTOR
The applications will then go to a panel of young people who will be assessing the applications alongside the Rising team.
Successful applicants will be matched with a mentor and will have the option to join either our first round or second round of mentoring sessions between March - April or May - June 2024.
3. PLAN NEXT STEPS
You will be invited to share your feedback about the process and have a conversation with the Rising team about implementing the next steps and continuing working together.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get involved.

This is your space to take whatever you need. While our creatives are experts in various fields, it's important to remember that their expertise isn't just limited to social media engagement or EDI policies. They are under 30 and underrepresented in the sector, bringing a unique perspective and fresh ideas to the table. So, don't limit your expectations. Embrace their creativity, and you'll be amazed at the results.
-
Yes! We understand that many leaders are overworked and burnt out. If you’re part of a smaller organisation and require financial support to take time out for these sessions, we can provide £50 per hour for your time.
