What it means to be part of our community
When you join Rising Arts Agency you become part of a community of people wanting you to succeed on your own terms.
You might be someone who would like to give freelancing a go but isn’t sure where to start, a creative who is looking to live your values more in your work or someone who is feeling isolated and wants a creative community.
Who can apply?
If you are:
based in Bristol
aged 18-30
someone who self identifies as underrepresented in the creative sector
a person with a creative practice that you can share in whatever format feels good for you (ie instagram, website, pdf etc)
passionate about activism/ social change
Rising’s community could be the place for you to grow your career and connections!

About your artistic or creative practice/s
How activism shows up in your creativity
How your current practice would benefit from community
Links to your work (visual, audio or whatever format feels good for you)

Process
All applicants will hear back by 7 September 2023
Successful applicants will be invited to a 3 day induction at Arnolfini in central Bristol from 25 to 27 September. This will include guest speakers from across the sector, an opportunity to meet the rest of the Rising team and community.
