Jasmine Thompson

Jasmine Thompson is a Bristol-based illustrator, writer, and designer. She's experienced in reportage illustration and a graphic novelist, and currently works as a content creator for Rife Magazine. Her work focuses heavily on social issues, culture and identity, particularly engaging with the city and the people who inhabit it. Recent work involves EP cover design for Saffron Records, and an illustrated poem for Bristol Cable for Black History Month. Her project ‘From Curls to Coils’ is a series dedicated to telling hair stories from black and mixed race women. It reaches out to women with similar experiences, and Jasmine is working on developing this into a graphic non-fiction. Previous work includes Illustrator for Sanctum Bristol, freelance book cover designer, facilitator, and comic book creator.
